1-Day Training

Practical Proactive Crime Prevention for Real-World Policing

Service Description

This 1-day training gives law enforcement and public safety partners a clear, practical approach to proactive crime prevention. Instead of equating “being proactive” with more stops, tickets, or arrests, the course focuses on identifying recurring problems, understanding what is driving them, and applying realistic strategies that are more likely to reduce repeat harm. Grounded in evidence-based policing, problem-oriented policing, the SARA model, and the Practical Proactive Policing Framework, participants learn how to focus on the right problems, places, people, and conditions using data, analysis, technology, partnerships, and the R.E.A.L. test (Realistic, Executable, Adaptable, Lasting). Designed for officers, supervisors, command staff, analysts, and related partners, this is a plain-language, scenario-based field training day—not an academic lecture. Attendees leave with a stronger understanding of what proactive crime prevention is (and is not) and a simple, realistic 30-day prevention plan they can take back to their own agency or environment. Booking: Contact Proactive Prevention Strategies, LLC for additional information or to schedule this training for your agency or organization.
